Tori Kilkenny

Tori Kilkenny (she/her) is an actor-comedian born and raised in Kansas City. Since middle school, she's taken to the stage, appearing in several school productions, falling naturally into comedic roles. In 2018, Tori completed her B.A. in Theatre Performance from the University of Kansas and quickly moved to the center of the midwestern universe, Chicago.

Since arriving, her love for laughter expanded her heart and expertise to include improvisational, sketch, and stand-up comedy. She has since completed the conservatory at The Second City Training Center, Chicago, and performed in numerous comedy festivals, including Madison Comedy Week, Alternating Currents, and as an inaugural member of The Fountain City Comedy Festival. Tori performs stand-up across the midwest appearing at Zanies, the world-famous Laugh Factory, and The Lincoln Lodge. She additionally writes and performs sketch comedy with Deep Dishin'.

Select favorite performances include Perfect Arrangement as “Millie,” Company as “Jenny,” and Pooter McGraw is Not Dead Party as “Ash.” It is through the final production that Tori and Nathan had their first interaction, though they would not reconnect as artists and friends until over a decade later at a party celebrating the one-year anniversary of a Chicago theatre hub and coffee shop, The Understudy.

Tori can be seen as “Becca” in Beth Hyland’s Clearing this April.
